The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has released a notification for the recruitment of a Constable (General Duty) through Sports Quota for 2023. A total of 272 vacancies are available under this recruitment drive. Eligible candidates can apply online from October 21 to November 20, 2023.

The SSB is a Central Armed Police Force that guards India’s borders with Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. It is a challenging and rewarding career for those who are looking to serve their country and protect its borders.

To be eligible for the SSB Constable Sports Quota Recruitment 2023, candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 23 years as of January 1, 2023. They must have passed the Class 10th examination and achieved at least National level in any of the following sports: Athletics, Boxing, Basketball, Football, Handball, Hockey, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Wrestling, Judo, Taekwondo, Karate, Archery, Shooting, Swimming, Cycling, Weightlifting, Powerlifting.

The selection process for the SSB Constable Sports Quota Recruitment 2023 will consist of the following stages:

Document verification: Candidates will be required to submit their original documents for verification at the time of the recruitment rally.
Physical fitness test: Candidates will have to undergo a physical fitness test to assess their physical fitness and endurance.
Sports trial: Candidates will have to undergo a sports trial to assess their sporting skills and abilities.
